metroAfrican on KGNU's African Roots
Daniel and Isabel from metroAfrican had a great time talking with Moutiou on KGNU's African Roots this past Saturday.
They talked about Daniel's work with Kenya Kids Ministries (www.kenyakidsministries.org) this past summer, as well as what they hope to accomplish with metroAfrican.com. They also discussed culture shock, Obamania, and other phenomena.
If you missed them on the radio you can catch the show online at http://www.kgnu.org/ht/listencomp.html (select african roots in the archives). It's a two hour show, so if you are in a hurry you can skip to 28 mins and 1 hr 9 mins to listen to the interview sections. But of course, you would miss out on all the great music Moutiou plays. And you don't want to do that.
Many thanks to Moutiou and KGNU for having Daniel and Isabel on African Roots!
Be sure to listen to African Roots every Saturday on KGNU from 4 to 6pm. That's 1390 AM in Denver, 88.5 FM in Boulder, and 93.7 in Nederland. Or listen streaming online at kgnu.org.

Wow MetroAfrican guys. Well done. I am off to listen to the show. One question though... Is Moutiou a dude or a dudette?
James,
Moutiou is most assuredly of a dudely nature. Thanks for your excellent question. We're patiently awaiting the rebirth of nairobiliving.com.
