Guy Lumumba to Speak at University of Denver Oct. 23

Guy Lumumba, son of Congo’s first democratically elected Prime Minister, Patrice Lumumba, will be speaking at the University of Denver as part of Congo Week. He will talk about the Lumumba legacy and the ongoing humanitarian situation in the DRC.

Mr. Lumumba will be joined by Maurice Carney, the co-Founder and Executive Director of Friends of the Congo, the organization sponsoring Congo Week nation-wide.

The event will take place at the Frederic C. Hamilton Family Recital Hall, Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver from 6-8pm on October 23rd.
