Colorado's African Communities

Three chances to get involved with local non-profits

In the coming weeks, three local non-profit organizations, each of whom are doing important work in East Africa, will be hosting events to raise support for their programs. Be sure to mark your calendars to get out and get involved.

First up, AfricAid is hosting a night of "Mojitos and Music" this Wednesday, July 29th. Come join AfricAid for a casual night of music, Maasai Mojitos, and fun at Fidel’s Cantina. Purchase a $10 wristband to enter into a drawing, get a free drink, and help raise money to support girls' education in Tanzania.

The party starts at 6pm and will go until 10. All wristband proceeds go directly to AfricAid. Happy Hour specials will be available, and the restaurant will offer its full menu. Hope to see you there!
