This Weekend: Kenya Benefit, Art for a Cause, and African Heritage Celebration
Get ready for a jam packed weekend.
First up this evening, come out to a benefit concert to help SAFI raise money for their work in Kenya.
Your $7 cover includes live art, snacks, skate ramp, and a pie throwing contest. The party blasts off at Blast-o-Mat at 5pm.

On Saturday, the African Heritage Celebration invites you to its 3rd annual benefit dinner and silent auction. It will be held on Saturday August 15th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Mile High United Way, located at 2505 18th Street in Denver.
The Dinner will feature West African cuisine and will be free of charge to the public, however donation will be accepted. Your generous tax-deductible contribution will help provide school to students in Senegal this Fall.

If that's not enough for you this weekend, you can also support the work of the 1010 Project whilst scoring some new art for your pad. Head over to pARTiculars in Lafayette today through Sunday, where 20% of all sales will be donated to the 1010 Project.
