To whom it may concern: back in 2002 or 2002 one of the attorneys RMSC worked with our friend Bocar Mbodj, a political refugee from Mauritania who escaped w/his family into Sudan & who was seeking political asylum in Denver, CO. Your attorney prepared a dossier & represented him in court to gain legal status. It was denied. Bocar was not given a copy of the dossier, & he has no information, no paperwork.. Can you direct us to someone who might have a copy of his file or any information on Bocar? I have talked with RMIAN, who cannot help but who gave me the name of the last director of RMSC , Regina Germain, who now is with the UN High Commision for Refugees in Washington, DC. Are you able to get her contact information for us? It seems impossible that all files from RMSC were destroyed. We do have Form G-639 Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act Request, which we will submit, but we understand it takes 6 months. Bocar may not be able to remain here that long.
Thank you very much. Know that any help you are able to give us will be greatly appreciated.

Artifacts 2 go

Hello Akente:

I am a senior who has traveled, yet must downsize my
objects now as I am moving -- many from teaching in Nigeria, Liberia
and East Africa. I know you are retail but perhaps if
you look as SOME of my developing website above
you might find some of interest for your store...
ie. traditional indigo Adinkra Nigeria cloth, lots of indigos,
oodles of old and new Kente, mudcloth, bark cloth from
Uganda plus many vanishing artifacts from the Karamajong
peoples...my trade beads are varied including the 30-bead blue
chevron I found in Mali...
Interested?
Best regards,

Wow! Love this!!

As the wife of an African American and the mother of an African American child I am constantly looking for ways to expose her to the richness of culture that Africa has to offer. Connecting with Denver area Africans is so exciting!! Thanks for making it that much easier for me to find out what is going on.
