The Harvest of Hope (HOH) would appreciate your assistance in disseminating information, listed below, about an upcoming event to your community.
Ten years ago, after a mission trip, three Denver women had a dream to alleviate poverty in Africa. Since then they have raised over $700,000 to build safe schools in East Africa, provide clean water to villages, resettle refugees, and empower Africans affected with AIDS, as well as those in Denver. HOH funds also assists It takes A Village to reduce social and health disparities among people of color in the Denver Metro Area.
This has all be accomplished through an annual dinner that celebrates Africa, raises awareness about the issues of poverty and provides funds for the programs of Church World Service (CWS) and It Takes A Village. This year, the HOH is raising funds for the CWS "Giving Hope Program", which has already helped 31,183 AIDS orphans create "household dreams" and develop an action plan for small business development that will allow them to achieve those dreams.
We would appreciate your participation and would like to thank you in advance for your assistance in distributing this information.
